Mentorship
Diverse Roots Foundation (DRF) supports mentorship for newcomers by connecting them with experienced community members who offer guidance and encouragement.
Through cultural activities, sports and community programs, mentors help newcomers navigate local resources, understand Canadian systems, and build confidence.
This approach promotes meaningful relationships, cultural exchange, and mutual learning.
By fostering trust and connection, DRF’s mentorship model strengthens social networks and supports newcomers’ successful integration and sense of belonging in Calgary.

We partner with the Canada Summer Jobs program to create meaningful opportunities for youth to gain real-world experience, build skills, and contribute to our community.
By participating, we help bridge the transition from idea to action, ensuring young people feel empowered, valued, and connected.
